She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron "Dutch" Brougher and Roberta Brougher; her husband Ernest H. Brown, Jr.; her son Matthew; and her brother Byron R. Brougher.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hooker (Darrell) and Ernest "Buzz" Brown (Mary); her sister Nancy Brougher Davis; and her sister-in-law Lillian Brown Stout. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
