He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Purnell Parker and Ruth Parker of Williamsburg, Virginia.; and his brothers, David Parker and Floyd Parker. He is survived by: his wife Deloris; his children, Anthony Parker of Williamsburg, Darius Parker (Elsa) of Sterling and Djuanwa Cooke (Dedric Sr.) of Palmyra, Virginia; his grandchildren, Queen Parker, Aaliyah Cooke, Dedric Cooke Jr., Dhani Cooke and Jelani Parker; his great grandchildren, Ariyah Parker and Alayah Parker; his sister Ruth Pryor of King George, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Verne Parker of Williamsburg, Virginia.
Having previously worked at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation during high school, he returned to start a new path that led to Master of the Print Shop, where he retired after over 30 years of service.
