Carol Lynn Tomek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Lynn Tomek of Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Oglesby and Linna Mae Oglesby; her husband Larry; her son Wesley Agustus "Gus" Hanks; and her grandson Carson Tomek.
She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence Charles "Chip" Tomek Jr. (Elaine) of Vienna, VA, Derek Edward Tomek (Mary) of Harrisonburg, VA and Devin Jennings Tomek (Annette) of Capon Bridge, WV; her grandchildren, Hunter Tomek of Chico, CA, Clayton Tomek of Winchester, VA, Carmen Reed (Tyler) of Capon Bridge, WV, Anthony Tenny (Amber) of Capon Bridge, WV and Kerri Spiker (Robert) of Capon Bridge, WV; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jayce Tomek, Sevryn, Serenity Tenney, Reid and Maddox Spiker; her siblings, June Frey (Tom) of Seattle, WA, Linda Broker (Mike) of Navarre, FL and Charles Jennings "Joe" Oglesby (Nancy) of Fleming Island, FL; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Howitt (Elwood) of Streetsboro, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
