She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul McMurray and Shirly McMurray; her husband Dennis Leroy Layman; her daughter Alana Alger; her stepson Kenny Layman; and her brother Paul McMurray.

She is survived by: her daughter Christina Smith (James); her stepson Toby Layman (Heather); her grandchildren, Jason Layman, Brian Layman, Tara Clapperton, Travis Layman, Teather Stotelmyer, Tyler Clark, Taylor Smith, Zachary Clark, Riley Alger, Trevor, Tevin and Tegan Layman; her siblings, Karen Merriman, Kathleen Terry, Nancy Acheson and John McMurray; and her pet Lady Belle. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
