She was predeceased by : her parents, Riley Combs and Amy Combs (Poland); her husband Ronald W. Alkire; and her siblings, Welton Combs, Pearl Ruckman, Madelyn Lewis, Mary Daugherty and Helen Lewis.

She is survived by : her daughter Deborah A. Tizio (Bart) of Allentown, PA; her sister-in-law Janet Crabtree of Cumberland, MD; and her grandchildren, Bart Tizio, Megan Marra, Amanda Caggiano and Hannah White.
