He is survived by: his children, Juanita Powell (Wayne Smith), Summer Mills (Chris) and David Reid Jr. (Jodee); his grandchildren, Travis Viands, Charlotte Viands, Lauren Reid, Jordan Reid, Ashton Reid, Devin Reid, Harrison Mills and Vayda Mills; his great grandchildren, Makai Hartley and Roman Lawson; and his siblings, Nellie "Sis" Pumphrey, Betty "Mezie" Lanham, Nancy Blankenship, Peggy Robinson and Charles "Puddin" Reid. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
