He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Carpenter and Margaret Carpenter; and his wife Frances "Fran" Miller. He is survived by: his son Christopher Reason; his grandchildren, Ashley, Collin and Charlotte Reason; his siblings, Donna and Bob; and also Anke Schuettoff-Reason.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602).
