We announce the death of Gary MacGleen Spencer Sr. of Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. Spencer and Ruth V. Anderson; his sisters, Stephanie Spencer and Carol McCullough; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Spencer, Roseann Sponaugle and Leroy Sponaugle.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Spencer; his children, Gayle Shanholtz (RamonTwo), Gary Spencer, Jr. (Samantha Glen Spencer) and NancyTwelve; his grandchildren, Ashya Funkhouser (Jacob), Natalie Unger (Brett), Amera Jenkins (John), Jordan Spencer (Holly), Jada Spencer (Cameron), Tyler Spencer, Jocelyn Spencer, Jiya Spencer, Brycen Spencer, Jamiya Spencer, Aniya Shanholtz and Jasiah SpencerEight; his great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Tatum, Raylee, Parker, Kamden, Abel, Eli and LoreleiEleven; his siblings, Ralph Spencer (Helen), Roxanna Ramirez (Miguel), Steven Spencer (Faye), Betty Jane Spencer, Roxanna McCullough, Diane Felton, Barb Scott (Fred), Richard "Brud" McCullough (Mae), Teresa Spencer, Pamela Spencer and Tony Spencer (Tammy); and his brother-in-law Thomas Sponaugle (Rebecca).
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home (188 Moser Ave, Paw Paw, WV 25434). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
