She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ruffner and Acton Clatterbuck; her sister Matilda; and her grandson Dwayne Funk. She is survived by: her husband John Frederick Funk; and her daughters, Shirley Funk (Larry) of Winchester, Debbie Coffman (Paul) of Winchester, Maggie Kump (Larry) of Winchester, Betty Dyche (Darel) of Winchester and Dianne Creswell of Winchester. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.

Monetary donations can be made to Blue Ridge Hospice in her memory.
