She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cary and Mamie Cary; her husband Edward "Chuck" Walker; and her siblings, Alice Cary, Virginia "Ginny" Henderson, Gertrude "Gertie" Smith, Hallie Long, Hannah Scott, Eleanor "Mickey" Brisco and George "Buck" Cary.
She is survived by: her children, Edward "Eddy" Glover (Cheryl) of Jessup, MD, Chrystal Walker of Gaithersburg, MD and Mary Walker of Charlotte, NC.; her grandsons, Edward "Tre" Glover III (Natalie) of Hanover, MD, Nelson "Alex" Glover (Mobolanle) of Elkridge, MD and Jason Glover of Odenton, MD; and her great grandchildren, Nadia and Sophia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church (1317 S Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Orrick Cemetery (1301 S Braddock St, Winchester, VA 22601).
