Golda Pearson Putnam Obituary

We announce the death of Golda Pearson Putnam of Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 78. Golda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Luddrell and Virginia Thompson Pearson; her son Jeffrey Scott; and her siblings, John Oliver Pearson, James Owen Pearson, Sarah Lee Hartsell and Charlotte Virginia Deal.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Fisher Putnam, Sr.; her children, Patricia, Ronald Jr. (Shari), Michael (Kristy) and John (Hayley); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joseph (Kacey), Aleksa (Sean), Chloe, Brent (Amber), Allan, Andrew, Fisher and Clara. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Blue Ridge Care, and the American Cancer Society.
