Harold E. Mummert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold E. Mummert of Winchester, Virginia, born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mummert and Mary Mummert (Karper); and his brothers, Glenn Mummert (Nelle), Kenneth Mummert and Earl Mummert (Christine).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mummert (Weigle); his children, Kathy Spahr (Denny), Stacey Nethers (Jeff) and Debra Smith McIntyre (Iain); his grandchildren, Tyler Duke (Meagan), Chelsea Fox, Chase Nethers (Mary), Victoria Smith Walton (Joseph) and Mitchell Smith; his brother Gerald Mummert (Claire); and his sister-in-law Betty Mummert. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Solomon's Evangelical Lutheran Church (4856 Wayne Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
