He is survived by: his wife Karin Ironside Carlson; his daughters, Letasha Ann Hottle and Heather Rochelle Peyton; his granddaughter Hope Frazier; his stepsons, Richard Carlson and Michael Carlson; and his brother Richard Peyton Sr. (Denise).
