He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moyer and Jean Moyer. He is survived by: his wife Fay; his daughter Ashley Moyer; his granddaughter Isis Layton; his siblings, Shelly Lee (late Denny) and Pete Moyer (Christi); his niece Kylea Keagy (Levi); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Audrey and Camila; and his niece Grace (Zach).

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jim to the French and Indian War Foundation, 419 N. Loudoun St., Winchester, VA 22601, or Blue Ridge Care, 333 W. Cork St., Suite 405, Winchester, VA 22601, as well as the Shenandoah.
