He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lantz and Vallie Lee Lantz (Place). He is survived by: his wife JoAnn B. Lantz (Bean); his children, Tina L. Wisecarver (Brian), James M. Lantz (Lynn), Kenneth N. Lantz and Richard B. Lantz (Christy); his grandchildren, Oren Ambielli (Sharon), Ethan Dienst (Lacee), Tiffany Wisecarver, Marcus Wisecarver, Laura Miller (David), Brooke Burwell (Aaron), Keenan Cresslan, Shepherd Lantz, Nathan Lantz and Silas Lantz (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Zella, Henry, Odette, Bayet, Madyson, Shayne, Brayden, Lexi, Alley, David and Carter.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 131 S Cameron St, Winchester, VA 22601. A reception was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Mount Hebron Cemetery (305 E Boscawen St, Winchester, VA 22601).
