He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Groves and Iva Groves. He is survived by: his wife Clara May "Sally" McConnell; and his children, Jeffrey (Valerie), Curtis (Xiaohui), Jonathan, Melinda, Clark (Linda) and Eric. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
