He was predeceased by: his parents, John Light and Irene Light; and his grandson John Andrew Light. He is survived by: his wife Martha Campbell; his son John A. Light, Jr.; his grandchildren, Sarah Irene Stiltner (John) of Texas and John Isaac Light (Shana) of Florida; his great grandchild Alexia Rose Light of Florida; his siblings, Phyliss Light of Winchester, VA, Larry Light of Winchester, VA, Donnie Light (Barbara) of Winchester, VA and Ronnie Light (Tammy) of Winchester, VA; and his pet Squirt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery (140 Light Rd, Winchester, VA 22603).
