John Reed touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Tracy Prosser (Grover Leech) of Cobden, Illinois and Reed Prosser; his child-in-law Claire; and his grandchildren, Anna of Winchester and Jack of Winchester.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Braddock Street United Methodist Church (115 Wolfe St, Winchester, VA 22601).
