John Elwood Sine Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Elwood Sine of Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Raymond and Alberta L. Lowery Sine; and his siblings, Claude Sine, Roy Sine, Dorothy Rooney and Ernestine Riley.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Sager (Phil Rinker) of Moorfield, WV, Marjorie Griczin (James) of Carrollton, GA and John Elwood Sine, Jr. (Terri Elks) of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Bridget Billmeyer, James Griczin, Katelyn Griczin and Richard Christian Sine; his great grandchildren, Jerin, Kalan, Renick, Kyron Junie and Nixon; and his sister June Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
