He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred R. Stryker and Helen E. Stryker; his wife Cora Stryker (Bryan); and his siblings, Justus Allen Stryker, Betty McKee (Stryker) and F. William "Bill" Stryker.
He is survived by: his children, John Stryker Jr. (Melenia) of Ashburn, VA, Corinna Lewis (Brian) of Winchester, VA and Teresa Cunningham of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren.
