In the sacred silence of farewell, Kathleen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kathleen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles D. Wood, Sr. and Anna Mary Barbour Wood; and her brothers, Charles Wood, Jr. and Michael L. Wood. She is survived by: her husband Donald Lee Tavenner; her children, Ann Breeden of Sunderland, MD, Matt Breeden of Hedgesville, WV, Shawn Breeden of Winchester, VA and J. C. McDonald of Berryville, VA; her siblings, Carolyn Jenkins of Robertsdale, AL, Lisa Tyree of Martinsburg, WV and Paul D. Wood of Berryville, VA; and her friend Judy Barthlow. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
