He was predeceased by: his son Sean Welsh; and his parents, Lawrence Welsh and Hattie Welsh. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo; his daughter Stephine Minnotte (Robb); his granddaughter Emily Minnotte; his siblings, Allen Ray (Sherry) and Cindy King (Dale); and his nephew Fuller Welsh.
