She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Walker and Kathryn Walker. She is survived by: her husband Boyd "Butch" Unger, Jr.; her son William Boyd "Sonny" Unger of Winchester, VA; her sisters, Judy Myrick (John) of Tennessee and Jeanie Mills (Dave) of Stephens City, Virginia; and her siblings' children, Danielle Kern, Pamela Hopkins (C. J.), Lisa Carr (Billy), Jason and Jeremy Myrick.
