She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Swartz and Catherine Swartz. She is survived by: her husband Denny Lee Place; her children, Kathye P. Edward (late Scott), Jane P. Ewing and Drew Place (Tita); her grandchildren, Mindy M. White-Kohne (A. J.), Kristin Nicholson (Doug), Brandon Ewing (Rachel), Christopher Ewing (Melanny), Blake Place (Andrea), Lauren Place, Reese Place and Meredith Place; and her brother-in-law Dwain Place (Shirley). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
