He is survived by: his children, Shannon Vergot Phillips (John) and Richard G. Vergot (Carla); his grandchildren, Madeline Goubeaux-Nelsen (Michael) and Zachary F. Goubeaux; his great grandchildren, Maeve Primrose Nelsen and Malcolm Henry Nelsen; and his siblings, Joan Vergot Holliday Yates and John Vergot (Lois). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
