She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward Swain and Mildred Marie Swain (Lloyd); her former husband James Roland Cooper; her husband Samuel Preston Luck, Jr.; and her sister Betty Kirk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Cooper and Sharon Cooper; her grandchildren, Megan Johnson (Trenton), Monica Benard (Stephen) and James "Jimmy" Cooper (Karishma); her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Zoey Benard; and her brother Edward "Snooks" Swain.
