With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Scott Ryan Sr. of Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Raymond and Mary Elizabeth Haymaker Ryan; his wife Martha Amelia Bowers Ryan; and his siblings, John Allen Ryan, June Beverley Miller, Betty Lee Hill, Jean Kathryn Drumheller, Colleen Elizabeth White and Patricia Hunt Grandstaff.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Scott Ryan Snapp "Scottie" (Franklin) of Winchester and Robert Scott Ryan, Jr. (Lisa) of Winchester; his grandchildren, Amelia Snapp, Harley Ryan and Andrew Snapp; his great grandchild Martha Snapp; and his brother Jack Maddox Ryan (Shirley) of Winchester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
