He is survived by: his wife Michelle; his children, Alisa Slade (David) and Zachary (Chelsea); his grandchildren, Hanna and Rebekah; and his brother Donald. He is also survived by his friends and "Pop-Pop" to his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Southside Church of Christ (3136 Papermill Rd, Winchester, VA 22601). During the COVID-19 pandemic, he delivered vital vaccines, medical equipment, and government-priority packages.
