He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nelson Ritter, Sr. and Elizabeth Ridenour Ritter; his granddaughter Ashley; and his sisters, Joyce and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline; his sons, Steve George Ritter, Jr. (Terry) of White Post, John Alan Ritter (Susan) of Front Royal, Jeffrey Lynn Ritter of Winchester and Bradley Scott Ritter (Tonja) of Winchester; his grandchildren, Emily, Alyssa, Jessica, Hannah and Bradley, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Keegan and Lewis; and his siblings, Peggy, Patricia, Floyd, Nelson, Frank, Greg and Boyd.
