He is survived by: his significant other Lorene Carter; his children, Sasha Hurst (Jason) and Sean Cain (Abby); his grandchildren, Christian Hurst, Anna Cain and Max Cain; and his sisters, Mildred "Punky" Homar (Bruce), Nancy Fout (Jerry) and Susan LeMarr (Larry).
