He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Schneider Shoemaker and Owen Stanley Shoemaker Junior; and his brothers, Owen Stanley Shoemaker III and Ed S. Shoemaker. He is survived by: his wife Beverley Bowman Shoemaker; his daughter Rachel Elizabeth Shoemaker; his son-in-law Blake C. Perry of Stephens City; his sister Stacey L. Davis; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Shoemaker of Charleston, SC..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
