She was predeceased by: her brother Herman Smith Barr, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Peggy Blackman Barr. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert G. Kendall; her children, Edward Gentry Kendall II of Fredericksburg, VA, Brent Riley Kendall of Sammamish, WA and Kathryn Kendall Murphy of Winchester, VA.; and her grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Kendall, Riley Kathryn Kendall, John Robert Kendall, Emily Hall Murphy, Sarah Margaret Murphy and Hannah Elizabeth Murphy.
Memorial donations may be made to the Braddock Street United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Society, or the Blue Ridge Hospice.
