He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cyril J. Tierney and Rena Tierney (Remmel); his wife Victoria "Vicki" Visocky; his children, Shawn Gerardo (Francisco) of Mt. Airy, Maryland, Scott Tierney (Stephanie) of Stephens City and Trevor Tierney (Nicole); his grandchildren, Corey Tierney (Sierra) of Stephens City, Megan Tierney of Stephens City, Alissa Tierney of Stephens City, Connor Patrick Tierney of Stephens City, Alex and Rowan Gerardo of Mt. Airy, Maryland.; and his siblings, John "Pat" Tierney (Janice), Thomas "Mike" Tierney (Eva), Robert "Bob" Tierney (Audrey), Richard "Dick" Tierney (Barbara), Dennis "Denny" Tierney (Jeannie) and Linda Buss (Mike). He was also cherished by his wife and Disney World with his children and grandchildren.
