We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 90, Varsella Fauver Pitcock of Winchester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Harry Fauver; her husband Buford Pitcock, Jr.; and her son Darryl Pitcock. She is survived by: her mother Nellie Brill Fauver; her children, Randy Whitacre (John) of Loris, SC, Kim Smith (Stephen) of Star Tannery, Teena Pierce of Winchester and Bryan Pitcock (Nancy) of Winchester; her grandchildren, Debra, Steve, Sr. and Amanda; her brother Herman Fauver; and her grandsons, Shawn Smith, Nick Pitcock, Page Whitacre, Camden Whitacre, John Pierce and Joe Pierce. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Phelps Funeral & Cremation Service (311 Hope Dr, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
