He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shaver, Sr. and Anna Shaver (Wine); his wife Alice Adeste Shaver; his children, Mary Beth Shaver of Clear Brook, VA and Stephen Edwin Shaver of Winchester, VA; his sister Bonnie Bowman (Dan) of Woodstock, VA; his sister-in-law Linda P. Shaver of Kure Beach, NC.; and his siblings, Gloria Shaver and Koln "Bud" Shaver.
