He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Whiell Johnson and Lee Mack Blake; his wife Essie Johnson; and his children, Wellesley "Domino" Johnson Jr., Jean Richardson, Major Clarence Richardson, Charmaine Israel, Dionnie Johnson and Michelle Johnson. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
