He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ballinger Sr. and Sue Bell Ballinger; his son David Earman; his sister Ramona Herndon; and his pet Toby.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Josie" Diaz Ballinger; and his children, Bibi Combs (Pete), Mark Ballinger, William "Billy" Ballinger III, Deanna Johnson (Tony), Ian Ballinger and Eric Ballinger. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
