He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Buckner and Myrtle Buckner; his siblings, Ruth, Margaret, Leah, Nan, Sara, Elaine, Leonard and Dave; his former wife Frances; and his wife Mary. He was also cherished by friends, and his many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church (1317 S Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Orrick Cemetery (1301 S Braddock St, Winchester, VA 22601).
