He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jacob Ludwick and Mary A. Phillips; his wife Shirley Ludwick; his son Larry Ludwick; and his siblings, Clifford, James Ludwick, Madeline Malick and Mildred Cowgill.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Shingleton of Augusta, WV and Terry Ludwick (Ray Pyne) of Aurora, NC; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Nathan, Kyle, Heather, Lauren, Catie, Kutter and Julieanne. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
