He was predeceased by: his parents, Dude Vaught and Hazel Vaught of Memphis, TN.; and his father-in-law Buck. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jones Vaught (Patty) of Windsor, Virginia.; his brother-in-law Will Jones (Amy Hughes) of Zuni, Virginia; his sibling's children, Ethan, Ava, Chelsea (John) and Whitlee; his great-nephew Parker; and his sister Nola V. Gregory of Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to a charity of one's choice or for the purchase of Richard's lifelong favorite drink: Single Malt Scotch Whiskey.
