He was predeceased by: his parents, Lila Watson and Garlon Watson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Watson; his children, Heather Boyette (Bryan), Charles Watson (Eva Hahn) and Holly Watson; and his sisters, Wanda Hall (Les) and Jill Copeland (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Windsor Cemetery (36 E Griffin St, Windsor, VA 23487). A burial was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department (P.O. Box 601 Windsor Va 23487) or the Trooper Hill Toy Drive (Robert A Hill F.O.P. Lodge #56 Toy Drive - P.O. Box 676 Courtland, VA 23837).
