She was predeceased by : her parents, Virginia Featherstun Everett Lane and Elisha Lee Everett. She is survived by : her husband Donald Ervin Goodwin; her sons, Jesse Goodwin (Jennifer) and Dylan Goodwin; her grandsons, Tydus and Lincoln; and her siblings, Martha Everett Williams (Mike) and Robert "Bob" Everett (Dinah).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harley's Haven (15395 Bowling Green Rd, Windsor, VA 23487).
