He was predeceased by: his parents, Earley Mattox and Frances Mattox; his son Bob Andre Mattox Jr.; his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Darlene Harper; and his brothers, Joe E. Mattox Sr., George William Mattox, Jim Andrew Mattox, Frankie Lawrence Mattox and Billy Russell Mattox.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Harper Mattox; his sons, Miguel Mattox and Darrius Mattox (Brittany); his siblings, Paul Mattox (Lillie), Donnie Mattox (Freda), Bobby Mattox, Frances Clayborne and Debra Hopkins (Richard); and his sisters-in-law, Joan Mattox and Ethel Mattox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
