With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggy Rutrough of Wirtz, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peggy left this world on June 28, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Jacques and Hazel Reynolds St. Jacques; and her brother Billy St. Jacques. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Rutrough; her daughters, Serena (Darrell Akers), Glenna Rutrough (William Johnson) and Kimberly (Jay Weston); her grandchildren, David, Taylor Rutrough, Ariel, D. J. Bruce, Joseph McPeake, Faith Rutrough and Erica Weston; her great grandchildren, Bentley Weston, Harmony and Melody Bruce; her stepgrandchildren, Jason, Cheyenne Akers and Adam Akers; and her siblings, Bob St. Jacques, II and Roberta Reece. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandy Ridge Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
