She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Sturgill; her son Jeff "Toehead" Sturgill; her mother Edith Sturgill; and her son-in-law Ronnie Mullins. She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Mullins; her daughter-in-law Vonda Sturgill (Tim); her grandchildren, Ashley Elliott (Mark Smith), Tyson Elliott (Kim), Tosha Wyatt (Josh), Zane Sturgill (Chelsea) and Hayleigh Strouth (Dalton); her great grandchildren, Claire, Cameron, Brayden, Gracie, Katherine, Halle, Waylan and Neylan; and her brother Roger Kannon. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Family Worship Center, 145 Lake St NW, Wise, VA 24293.
