He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Lee Boone (David) of Wise, VA; his grandsons, Brian David Boone (Jessica) of Charlotte, NC, Jason Kyle Boone (Sarah) of Firestone, CO and Matthew Allen Boone (Amanda) of Kingsport, TN.; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Lydia, Elizabeth, Eve, Faith, Miriam, Abigail, Ethan, Liam, Wells and Matthew; and his close friend Regan Vaughan. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
