He was predeceased by: his parents, Junery Willie "Bill" Slone and Jessie Jean Short Slone; and his siblings, Billy Ray Sloan (Peggy) and Gail Slone Caldwell (Rowland). He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Jean" Dean Slone; his children, Tina Slone Nunley (Tony), Jennifer Slone Partin (Randy), Sandra Slone Roop (Dan) and Danny Douglas Slone II (Stephanie); and his siblings, Clarence Edward Slone (Bonnie), Stephen Randolph Slone (Goldie) and Anita Slone Peterson (late George). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
