She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Sturgill and Vonda Collins Sturgill; her daughter Angela Addington; and her siblings, Carrol, Johnny, Gary Sturgill, Leona Shortt, Delores Mullins, Mary Lou Rogers and Patricia Webb.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg (Tina) and Brandon (Leslie); her grandchildren, Beth (Darren), Andrea and Brayden; her great grandchildren, Julie and Emma; her grandchildren, Jordan, Zach and Dominque; her sister Charlotte Roberts; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Sturgill and Jack Rogers (J. D.).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Homes - Wise (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a meal be donated to a family in need, as Frances so often did when someone experienced a loss.
