He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert Vanover and Iola Vanover; his wife Beulah Kay McKnight; his children, Lisa, Scotty Boggs, Gene Jr. (Bug), Marianne Vanover (Earl), David, Dawn Vanover, Fran, Tim Balthis and Forever; his grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer), Scott, Daniel (Katie), Cristina (Dustin), Ryan (Brittany), Becca (Jordan), Kearsten (Jerrid), Nathan (Tiffani), Kayla, Samantha and Monkey (Blake); his great grandchildren, Paisley, Bailey, Kaegan, Abel, Micah, Rylie, Ben, Addie, Reece, Jayden, Sawyer, Evie, Jayce, Levi, Grady, Jude, Reagan, Tori, Gemma Kay, Oaklynn and Amelia; and his siblings, James, Faye, Jackie, Marsha, Jeff and Robin. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
