He is survived by: his wife Marcelle Addington Purkey; his sons, Frank Purkey (Robin) and Doug Purkey (Mary); his grandson Justin Purkey (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Sawyer Purkey and Saylor Purkey; and his sisters-in-law, Wilma Graham and Libby Taylor. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
